Onboarding takes you from your site’s address to the first message in your inbox. It takes less than 3 minutes.
All you need is your site’s address. Let your AI agent install it, install the snippet yourself, hand it to your developer, install it together with Piotr or come back to it later.

Install with your agent
Your AI agent can install Voicedot
Paste one prompt into the agent that works in your website’s repository, such as Claude Code or Codex. It creates your account, adds the widget and checks that it works. You confirm your email, send the first comment and choose a plan.
- Your agent never accepts the terms, chooses a plan or sends feedback for you.
- Your site has to run on HTTPS, also locally. The agent uses the official Voicedot client in Python 3.

Technical instructions for the agent, copied together with the prompt
Use the official Voicedot client: https://app.voicedot.ai/static/voicedot/agent-setup/v2/client.py. Download it over HTTPS, verify SHA-256 238fe504ab7e31cc3fd90b59e93be8d22a5ece37a088251cd9ffc8863baf70d1, inspect the code and its --help, and use https://app.voicedot.ai as the base URL. Keep the registration and installation state in separate private files outside this repository (mode 0600). Pass the email and credentials through stdin, never in command arguments, logs or reports. For a new account, create the registration request once (addProject=false) and give me the confirmation link right away. I accept the terms myself; do not solve CAPTCHA for me. I will verify the email in the same browser where I accept the terms, or give you access to the mailbox. Then install the widget exactly once in the site’s shared layout. Preserve CSP and cookie consent, never replace a different .voicedot.json and do not install on production without my OK. Open the site in a real browser and check the status until Voicedot confirms a fresh signal from it. Never send feedback yourself. Finally, give me the one-time sign-in link. I will send the first comment and choose the plan myself. If anything fails, tell me the stage and the error code, without credentials.

Enter your site address
Enter the exact website address where the widget should run, such as https://yoursite.com. The widget requires HTTPS even locally; localhost needs a certificate. yoursite.com and www.yoursite.com are separate addresses. Add each host and port you use separately to the project.
You can correct the address until the snippet connects to your site.
Create your account and get the snippet
Create a free account with Google or by email, with no password. Every sign-in comes as a link. Onboarding then creates the project and the snippet for your domain.

Choose how to install it
Onboarding asks how you would like to add the snippet: yourself, with your agent, through your developer, during a call with Piotr, or later with instructions sent by email. You can change your choice.
Let my agent install it
You have an account: when you install, choose “Let my agent install it” in the dashboard and paste the copied instructions into your agent. No account yet: one prompt is enough for your agent to create it and install the widget.
I’ll install it myself
Copy the snippet and paste it right before the closing </body> tag, or add it through the custom-script or tag-manager setup your site uses. Any stack works: plain HTML, React, Webflow, Framer. Publish the change.
Keep your existing website. You need permission to add the script and settings that let it load.
I need help installing it
Arrange a conversation with Piotr, up to 90 minutes. You install the snippet together on a screen share, on any stack. Have access to your site’s code or CMS handy.
My developer will handle it
Enter the email of the person who manages your site. Voicedot sends them the snippet with step-by-step instructions, and you see the install status in onboarding the moment it’s live. Prefer to write yourself? Copy this message:

After publishing, please check that the widget appears on those pages.
Do not change the rest of the website.I’ll do it later
Email the snippet to your account address, with a secure link back to onboarding. You can also schedule one reminder: in 1 hour, in 3 hours or tomorrow. It only arrives if the snippet is still not installed.
Onboarding checks your site for the snippet by itself. Once it finds it, the status changes to “Connected”. You can also check again yourself.
Send the first message
Click “Open my site and try Voicedot”. Your site opens in a new tab with the widget in the corner. Click Record, pin the spot and say or type what’s off.
Come back to the onboarding tab. The message shows up there by itself. If you already sent it, click “Check again”.
Start with text: it works on Free and does not require microphone access. Voice is included in the full 7-day trial and paid plans.
Check that it arrived
Once you send it, the widget confirms on your site: “Message sent”. The “Continue setup” button takes you back to onboarding.
There you see your message the way you will see every next one: the page, the pinned spot, your words and a category. Your feedback loop is working.
Once the test arrives, invite a client, user or teammate. Your test checks the setup. Their feedback starts the review.
After your first real onboarding feedback, choose Free or a trial. The message alone does not start the clock. The trial starts after your decision, a verified saved card and consent to the selected paid renewal; it lasts 7 days.
When the widget does not appear

Microphone permission is only needed for voice. A reviewer can write instead.
